1. Round 1: MR, 6 SC (6) in black yarn
2. Round 2-4: SC around (6), finish off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Bow:

1. With red yarn: CH 10, turn and SC in each CH across (9 SC)
2. CH 1, turn, SC in each SC across (9 SC) Repeat for a total of 5 rows.
3. Finish off, fold the rectangle and wrap a piece of yarn around the center to form a bow. Secure and leave a long tail for sewing.

Ladybug Cape:

1. With red yarn: CH 20, turn and SC in each CH across (19 SC)
2. CH 1, turn, SC in each SC across (19 SC) Repeat for a total of 4 rows.
3. Finish off, sew black spots using black embroidery thread.

Assembly:

1. Stuff the head and body firmly.
2. Sew the head onto the body.
3. Sew the arms onto the sides of the body.
4. Sew the legs onto the bottom of the body.
5. Attach the antennae to the top of the head.
6. Embroider eyes, nose, and mouth with black thread or attach safety eyes.
7. Sew the bow onto the head.
8. Attach the ladybug cape to the back of the body.
