Hair (yarn color of choice)
- Make several long strands by cutting yarn pieces (about 6-8 inches each)

Seashell Ridges (optional, white/cream)
- With contrasting yarn, slip stitch in a line from center to outer edge at 6-8 even points around the disc for a ribbed shell look
Finishing
- Embroider eyelashes, blush, and a small smile with embroidery thread
- Weave in all ends
- Position mermaid sitting on the seashell with tail curved naturally
