Step 1: Insert your needle into the stitch directly below the next stitch on the LH needle.
Step 2: Wrap and knit as you normally would, allowing the stitch to fall off the left needle as usual.

Cast on an odd number of sts and a 4-row repeat.
Row 1 – wrong side: Knit all sts.
Row 2 – right side: Knit 1, * knit 1 below, knit 1; rep from * to end.
Row 3: Knit all sts.
Row 4: Knit 2, knit 1 below, * knit 1, knit 1 below; rep from * to last 2 sts, knit 2.
