  Using black yarn, create a MR, 6 sc in the ring. (6) Inc in each st around. (12) Sc in next st, inc in next st; repeat around. (18) 4-6. Sc in each st around. (18) Sc in next st, dec in next st; repeat around. (12) Sc in each st around. (12) Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Arms (Make 2): Using black yarn, create a MR, 6 sc in the ring. Shorts:

Using orange yarn, ch 16, join with a sl st to form a ring. (16) Sc in each st around. (16) 3-5. Sc in each st around. (16) Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Eyes and Nose: Using white yarn, embroider small eyes on the head. Use black yarn to create a small nose in the middle. Attach safety eyes above the embroidered eyes for a cute look. Cheeks: Using pink yarn, embroider small circles on each side of the face to create blush. Assembly: Sew the ears to the top of the head. Attach the arms to the sides of the body. Sew the legs to the bottom of the body. Attach the head to the body. Sew the shorts onto the lower part of the body. Attach the keychain ring to the top of the head. Weave in all loose ends and trim any excess yarn.
